4 - Kilmun Arboretum & Puck’s Glen

Kilmun Arboretum & Puck’s Glen Established in the 1930s to monitor the success of a variety of tree species in the humid west coast environment, Kilmun Arboretum & Puck’s Glen is laced with paths lined with over 162 tree species planted, not individually, but in an unusual ‘mini-forests’ format.

Puck’s Glen is one of the most famous short walks on the Cowal Peninsula.

From colourful maples to rare conifers and Australian eucalypts, Kilmun offers you the opportunity to tour a global collection of tree species in just 80 minutes! With four way-marked trails to choose from you’ll be spoiled for choice.
